Texans sign Lamar Miller from the Miami Dolphins to be their next feature back.
Former Miami RB Lamar Miller plans to sign with the Houston Texans, league sources tell ESPN.

Houston recently cut ties with Arian Foster and decided to move in a new direction. Foster set all sorts of franchise records during his tenure after coming up as an undrafted free-agent. The cap hit and the Achilles injury were too much for the Texans to bring back and now we are on to the Lamar Miller era.
With 638 career carries, the former Miami Hurricane has 2,930 career rushing yards with an average of 4.6 yards per carry.
Miller believed he was being under appreciated and that is why he moved on to Houston, the numbers back him up.

Miller has always been either the delight or thorn in the side of fantasy football owners throughout. The Texans certainly got a glimpse of what Miller could do in week 7 of the 2015 NFL season. Miller rushed for 175 yards and had 4 total touchdowns with 3 of them being receiving touchdowns. The Dolphins beat down the Texans and it was the turning point in the season for the Houston Texans. Teams certainly pay attention when opposing players play like Miller did against them and now we see that the Texans had their eye on him for a good while.
Just as the problem exists for new Texans QB Brock Osweiler, Miller faces the challenge of running behind that so-so Texans offensive line which was really mediocre for most of the last season. The Texans have signed Jeff Allen from the Chiefs for their offensive line and that helps but we will see how Duane Brown comes back from that ruptured quad injury.
Miller is still young and can outperform his current contract in Houston so the Texans did do a good job here in addressing the RB position during the offseason. I still think the Texans go WR or RB in round one if Ezekiel Elliot is still available or Josh Docston, and QB in round 2.
As for now I think Miller will entertain Texans fans and Houston has improved in my eyes from last year thanks to Osweiler and Miller. Miller helps improve mainly because Foster got injured early, a healthy Foster is still a better back.
NFL Free Agency continues so keep an eye out, it is going to continue to get crazy.
